Product Description:
Mirka 6" 61-Hole UNI Universal Grip Backup Pad (906GV) features a 6" (150mm) diameter size, compatibility with all vacuum hole combinations and includes both 5/16" x 24 thread and M8 adapters for attachment to sanders and a 6" pad saver.
Suitable for narrow shroud machines but not recommended to be used with 6" Mirka ROS machines because the combination of UNI pad plus wide shroud machines does not give the optimal dust extraction.
This UNI pad is a medium density and optimized for flat surfaces and has a high edge durability.
15 larger holes allow use of conventional discs with 6-hole, 6+1-hole, 9-hole and 15-hole patterns.
Tips: To ensure correct installation, always use the supplied spacing washers, making sure that a minimum gap exists between the sander’s shroud and the top part of the backing pad, to prevent friction between the two parts. Tighten the screw hard. The backing pad should never turn idle. From time to time, check that the screw is well tight.
